Surely you’re well aware that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding took place this morning. The world finally got to see the much-anticipated wedding dress, which ended up being a classic look by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller.

As I looked upon the dress with her long (and stunning) veil, I couldn’t help but have a minor feeling of deja vu. We’ve all heard the comparison of Meghan and the classic Cinderella story. A “regular,” American girl is swept off her feet by the world’s most eligible Prince. But this analogy can go further since Meghan actually looks like Cinderella on her wedding day.
