Ideas for short, low budget social media videos

I am trying to promote a communications app that will soon have money transfer. I don't always have the time to shoot and edit fancy high end commercial videos, but I would like to utilize video much more in my social media marketing.
What are some fast and low budget ways to implement video into my every day social media strategy? So far I've experimented with short quote clips with background changes and text animations. Does anyone have any other ideas?
