I've finally cut the cord from "social" media

My usage wasn't toxic like it was for many others, but after reflecting, seeing how often people posted, and how little they cared that Facebook was making mint off of their private information, it just comes across as very unhealthy. I've had my growing problems with them clearly for the past while, but enough is enough.
I don't need FB. I'll keep an account around so family and friends I don't have on text, Discord, Steam, etc can get in touch with me, but I won't be back there to check it and I deleted the app entirely from my phone so they can't listen into things I'm saying and doing so they can target me with strangely specific ads.
Since "quitting" (aka stopped caring) about social media, I've felt so much better. More free. Stopped being rained on by negativity in my news feed and everywhere else. FB makes more money the more hateful and divided people are, and honestly I believe this to be their ultimate goal. I miss face to face interactions and how things use to be growing up, and I think it's high time everyone else does the same.
