Is Mariah Carey Still Launching a Beauty Company?

Last year, we reported that immortal icon and flawless queen Mariah Carey was launching her very own beauty line. (Not to be confused with her wildly successful and glittery collaboration with M.A.C.) Page Six reported that said company would be founded with Mariah’s then-manager, Stella Bulochnikov.
Back in May 2017, a source said, “Mariah and Stella are opening a business together, their own beauty company that they hope will feature their own products of makeup, skin care and fragrances. They plan on opening a brick-and-mortar store in Beverly Hills and have been secretly looking at a number of retail spaces with a plan to unveil it this holiday season or next year by the latest.”
Next. Year. By. The. Latest.
Well, not only is it now next year, but this past winter, Mariah and her manager of three years and villain of short-lived yet brilliant reality show Mariah’s World, Stella Bulochnikov, split up. (Which, tbh, good riddance.)
So you can see why this leaves us in the dark about the fate of said beauty line! Since parting ways with Bulochnikov, Mimi has signed with Roc Nation, which is a good sign because: $$$.
No word yet on what the beauty company will be called (if it does indeed exist) but we’re hoping for “The Beautification of Mimi,” featuring a brush set called “We Blend Together,” a lip gloss called “Honey,” and a body lotion called “Touch My Body.”
Oh, and if there isn’t at least one eyeshadow simply called “Glitter,” we’re out. JK. We’re in no matter what.
