Anyone else here have any problems with Minds?

Minds, the "new" social media platform that its creators are trying to build up to replace FB and Twitter. A frontier that, unlike FB, is pro-free speech (apparently) and on paper sounds like a fantastic idea. After about a month with the site, it seems like it's an idea doomed for failure.
Having a background in tech and having known many web designers over the years in the industry, it's very clear how broken and hectic the site is. The glitches are many, and whether it's the app being off-sync with the desktop, or not being able to update your profile info on one platform versus another, it's apparent there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. It appears "freedom of speech" is only allowed as long as you don't criticize the site. There were a few posts by another user in the Help and Support section a couple weeks ago where the user quite perfectly highlighted many of the issues, such as the website allowing you to subscribe to yourself and even block yourself. When the user highlighted this, one of the co-founders of Minds jumped in and basically called the user a liar and asked for them to "post proof". They did shortly after and then that was it. The co-founder never acknowledged the users evidence and just straight up ignored it. The glitches this user highlighted are still present and it appears nothing has been done.
Apart from a seemingly power-tripping and hypocritical staff, the site is just far too broken to be a viable replacement for FB, Twitter, etc. I hate them just as much as you all do, but at least they work relatively well.
Anyone else feel similarly about Minds?
