Advice needed for starting a new international Instagram account

Hello! My company is launching our presence in Brazil next month, where our products will be sold by a major retailer. We're creating a new Instagram channel for Brazil and I'm a bit clueless as how to how we should approach getting new followers to the channel. We don't have an email list or anything to drive new followers that method and we will not be selling through our website, just through the retailer.
I'm thinking we should populate the feed with teaser images and information and then run some Instagram ads to tease the launch with the CTA to follow us for more info.
If anyone has other ideas or has done this before, I'd love your advice. Thanks!
