Small challenge to screen outreach candidate.
http://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Guys hi,
We are about to make our first outreach hire and are wondering what's a small challenge (10-20 min) to screen candidates?
I have experience hiring programmers, and learned that small code challenge worked much much better in understanding how candidates think, approach problems and finding reliable programmers than degrees, claimed years of experiences, hourly rates, etc.
To make good challenge one have to be good in the trade. That's why programmers have to hire programmers, marketers have to hire marketers, etc. We do not have much of outreach experience, so i've came on social media sub for your advice :)
What a small challenge one can ask outreach candidate? And if possible explain why it's a good challenge/question and provide example of good/bad answer.
Additional Information:
We are hiring outreach person to handle these 2 responsibilities:
PR: finding people who will talk about you, for awareness and for backlinks.
Content strategy: defining everything from what content to cover to what audiences to target.
Our niche is "San Francisco city tours"
