How to stay on top of new viral Twitter memes that could be remixed for some brand's Twitter account? [x-post from r/AskMarketing]

[Did not get a response in r/AskMarketing so I'm trying my luck in here.]

Stuff like the Phil Collins drum break at NYE midnight tweet that was remixed and went viral that way quite a lot.

I feel like I'm always a couple of days late realizing something's now the Twitter language du jour. Any tips? Any recommended follows? Or websites? Knowyourmeme and websites like that seem to give their attention to every little meme. I only need updates on the currently hot stuff.
