How do I answer the interview question "what is your experience with influencer marketing?"

So I have been doing social media management for non-profits for about three years now. I have no experience at all with influencer marketing, as that doesn't really apply to the fields I have been in ( building affordable housing, supporting legal non-profits, and before that I worked for a carpet cleaning equipment manufacturer.)
How do I answer the question "what is your experience with influencer marketing?"
Anyone else been in the same boat and come up with a good answer for that? Right now I guess I am leaning towards just explaining that there are no "influencers" within the fields I have worked so it hasn't come up... but when I imagine giving that answer in my head it doesn't sound great.
