TikTok - have I already messed up?

So I made a TikTok account a few days ago. My first video was doing okay and was up to about 800 views and growing when I made a second video which was removed for breaking guidelines (cannot fathom why even after checking thoroughly), since then the first post has dried up and I've struggled to get views on my third video... although with 109 views it has 10 likes, this makes me further think that I'm not getting shown outside of visitors to my profile and followers as that doesn't seem a bad hit rate?
Long stort short - should I wait a few days to a week and then try a post again, or am I better off starting fresh with a new account?
