Question About Instagram Blocks
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
I am very familiar with the rules of Instagram blocks. However, I was just blocked with no warning on my Instagram page for 1 week. To give background, I posted on the account for the first time since March 12 last Tuesday. The post had reasonable reach and I have gained about 100 followers since Monday. Yesterday I liked several photos on several different accounts in the niche, making sure to stay under 350 likes per hour which will cause an action block (I was well under this number and only did it twice) and I only followed 5 new accounts yesterday. This morning, I went on my account and it was working fine. I liked a few posts, went onto the business accounts I run for my internships, performed business as usual there. When I went back to my personal account, I received a notification that I was blocked until 6/14. Fortunately, the business accounts were unaffected by the block, but when I went onto my dog account, that had also been blocked for a week (this account hasn’t been used for about a week). I thought it might be an IP ban so I tried using my computer, but no luck. Ultimately, I don’t understand why I was blocked, nor why it carried over to another account. TLDR: my account was blocked and I’m 98% sure I didn’t break any rules. The block carried over to a separate account. Can an account be banned for growing too quickly in a short period of time? Is there a rule I don’t know? Thanks in advance!
