How to recover from inactivity on instagram

Hey everyone
For reasons I won’t go into I haven’t posted on my music instagram account (or my twitter but less concerned about that) in about a year and a half. I want to get back into it but I know that my engagement will be garbage because I’ve been inactive for so long. What’s the best method to go about this?
I’ve though about deleting my page and starting from scratch. Bummed I might lose some bigger musician followers when I do that but so it goes
Or I could block and unblock all my followers except the other bigger musicians I still want to follow me. And then do some follow/unfollowing to get my numbers and engagement back up
Is there a third better option? Or should I do one of the above? Thanks
