Attempting to claim an IG handle
Hello,
I hope everyone’s well and healthy.
I am attempting to claim the username that has no following or posts. I've actively reached out to the user several times with no response, so naturally, I filed a claim which was denied. (The account has not been active for several years).
I’ve explored a few different ideas bu for continuity sakes to have the same name on all of the channels is essential.
I was willing to compensate the original owner (reasonably), but a lot of people register the username and create the account and then (im assuming) log out and never log back in.
I’ve been told that you are able to get help with people from Instagram who can get you a handle, but with a price. Not sure who though. I’ve also been contacted by several super shady accounts who said they are able to retrieve inactive accounts - has anyone dealt with either? With all that’s going on in the world at this time don’t think I can handle being scammed lol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
