How to join a Facebook group as a page, in a group I has personally already joined?

Does anyone know how I can join a Facebook-group as a Facebook-page I manage, when I, myself, am already a member of the group?
The instructions are that you can do join a group by pressing "Join" and select the page, or you can link a page to a group.
Linking the page to the group is not a valid option for me, since I (obviously) don't own most of the groups I want to join with my page.
The "Join"-button obviously (and stupidly) isn't there if I, with my personal Facebook-profile, has joined a group. And I mean, most of the time I want to join my Facebook pages to groups I already know about - groups I've already joined.
Are there any obvious method I am missing, or is the implemented really this flawed?
