TikTok won’t let me use the lengths of times I want for video clips

I’m trying to make a tiktok by uploading multiple video clips. However, once I select the clips, it manually adjusts how long each clip will be, and I can’t make each clip longer than the time it gives me for each clip, so it’ll cut out most of the clip. I’ve seen tiktoks with the same audio that have longer clips for each video, how can I do that?
