Instagram thinks I'm using a third party software to get likes... but I'm not...

So I have an IG account for my dog. It's just for fun. I take a lot of pictures of my dog and don't want to be that guy on facebook posting a trillion dog photos all the time. So I figure this is a perfect place to stick them all and entertain myself with strangers thinking my dog is cute. It's stupid, but it's fun, so whatever.

Anyway, for about 3 minutes every morning, I just scroll my favorite hashtags and like and comment on photos. It makes me feel good and it's a positive way to start the day for me. Now, in all fairness, I AM liking basically all the photos in the hashtags because they're all pictures of dogs and how is one supposed to NOT like photos of dogs?? Ok, just kidding. But, I am liking a lot of those photos and I suppose it is happening pretty fast. Probably 60-90 photos in those 3 minutes, if I had to guess.

Today I logged in, liked a bunch of photos and then I switched over to the main feed to keep up with the accounts I'm following and all of a sudden it said 'action blocked'. That's happened a couple of times in the past, and I figure it was just some upper limit I'd hit somehow, but this time it kicked me out and said that I was sharing my password with someone or any application or something to get more likes or followers and forced me to change my password. The thing is, it really is just me, using the native app to sincerely geek out on pictures of dogs, which I sort of imagine is how they're hoping people would use the app?

So I guess I'm wondering what I'm supposed to do to avoid that? Just... have less fun? Is there a real metric or number out there I should know about to avoid the system thinking I'm a robot or a bad actor or something? Shouldn't their system be able to tell I'm not sharing the password, that it's always the same device? I'm an ordered person and I don't allow myself to get lost in social media all day long, I just allow myself this 3 minutes to go nuts with it, so is it just because of how consistent I am with the behavior and people aren't usually like that?

Anyway, I guess I'm just curious what everyone here thinks. It's not a real problem, I guess, but I'm disappointed they don't seem to want me to enjoy the network in a way that fits in my life. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
