Instagram IGTV how to use it ?

I'm super active on my IG accounts, and have the knowledge regarding posts, times etc.. but haven't really used IGTV much.
My questions are:
1) How often should you post on IGTV?
2) Does posting on IGTV (without preview post) affect a normal post? for example, I post a photo or video once per day at the same time. If I post an IGTV on the same day, will it affect the normal post?
I'm asking because i know if someone posts more than once per day, sometimes one posts' reach is ghosted or hidden, not good reach. is that the case with 1x post + 1x IGTV per day?
