Tons of content - how best to post for growth?

Hi all,
I have been creating art for the last few years but have not consistently maintained a social media presence. I started an IG in early 2018 but haven't posted since early 2019..
I now have about 50-60 pieces of work that I'd like to post and ideally grow my account with. I've researched hashtags and was suggested by a friend to schedule in posts at a peak time on a once daily schedule.
Is this best practice or should I vary the time/frequency of posts? What kind of indicators should I be looking at to see if the time of posting is working? Also is there any downside to scheduling with Creator Studio rather than manual uploads?
Also to note: I'll engage on similar accounts while posting as I'm aware this will also help my reach.
