Snapchat notifications with quick add?

So my quick add is dry asf, I want to add alot of people but I don't want to search them and look like a stalker, bc they get notified that I added through search. But, if I go to my quick add, and open one of the person's profiles, it shows a suggested for you tab under their profile, which has alot more relevant people. My question is, by which method are they told I added them, quick add or search. Idk bc it's not directly from quick add. Thanks!
