Client canceled contract - what do I hand over, and what do I withhold?

This is a slightly more complicated situation than just social media because I acted as somewhat of an in-house graphic designer during my time working with this client as well... and managed a host of other things on the side... but I'll start with social media.

Essentially my client was running out of money and needed to compartmentalize, they cut my position and gave my duties to their fulltime operations manager. This was a little over a week ago. They have asked me to send over my materials... but I still haven't been paid so I'm waiting for that to come through.

For social media I was obviously managing and planning the posts, curating the account visually, writing copy, running promotions, doing hashtag research, etc.

I also created graphic elements that contributed to the composition of the overall grid-view of the account.

The operations manager has no visual sense, has botched a lot of the posts since I finished my job (partly due to my not having sent the content yet but they were also incredibly rookie mistakes that almost anyone could have sorted out on their own... in MS paint.)

My position was cut without notice, it was a quick decision, literally a day after they had offered me a revised contract... so I'm a little annoyed with that and the fact again, I haven't been paid yet. Since there wasn't initially an end-date to this job... it wasn't as though there was plan for me to create a social media package for the organization for them to use themselves later... Making a comprehensive guide like that is an additional job and not a service that I feel inclined to give them at this point because I won't get paid for it.

Of the social media related stuff - do I hand over the graphic elements for the posts when neither the client nor their operation's manager knows how to use the (very very simple) tools and programs to implement them?

Do I send them other information to help with their future social media strategy? Again, my job was supposed to be ongoing, they thought they didn't need me, the account hasn't done as well since, it was never agreed that I was going to be creating a 'package' to hand over.

What exactly do I owe them?
