Why is the instagram ad promotion tool so bad?

A client needs to grow on Insta through ads and I cant use the "visit profile" option on desktop, i am forced to use the Instagram Ad builder and its soooo bad. I can't choose language or mass select countries, some interests dont show up and I cant use existing audiences (that i didnt create on the app). Fuck that app.
