TikTok video shrunk?

Hey folks, I'm new to Tiktok. I just uploaded my first two videos, which were shot on my phone and edited on my computer, then re-uploaded to my phone so I could post them. But my videos are shrunk to half their size. There's a huge black box around them. Anybody know why this is happening? Is it because of the way I edited them?
