Being the third most downloaded Android app, 'WhatsApp' plays an vital role in day-to-life of every common people.
As we all know, WhatsApp is an messaging app which uses Internet to send-recieve texts,calls(both voice and video),images,voice notes,documents, videos by knowing a person's WhatsApp registered number. This is nothing but the 10-digit-phone number. In 2014, Facebook bought WhatsApp for US$19 billion, biggest of its purchase till date. Facebook took this step because, it clearly understood the growing purpose and usage of WhatsApp application in vast -level.
WhatsApp have a wide reach of 1.5 billion active users in over 180 countries but banned in 12 countries. On a personal note, I would tell that we can read about a person completely by his/her WhatsApp chat and data. WhatsApp have combined into people's life with an un-avoidable level and have greater impact.
The impact upgraded to different level by which people started to run their business without knowing how a business runs. The business throu' WhatsApp was so easy to people that doesn't even required any website or fb account for reaching their customers but only numbers.
Facebook was aware of it and now have developed a 'WhatsApp Business' application for both iOS and Android users to establish the business users. This app will enable a catalogue feature which will work as an added attraction to drag customers. WhatsApp may charge the user depending upon the country.
“We’re opening commerce as a new chapter,” Amrit Pal, a product manager at WhatsApp, told Press. “We hear from businesses every day that WhatsApp is where they meet their customers, rather than sending them to a website.”
This will definitely boost the business motive users in WhatsApp!
