Snapchat Quick Add Feature no longer functioning as it used to

Earlier when I used the Quick Add feature, I was able to see some mutual friends that my friends had and I could add them as friends if I knew them as well. Now I don't have any people that appear in this section and the only people I can add are those in my contacts. Do you guys also have this problem and if so was it fixable? I have Snapchat on my Android S10E if that helps anyone out.
