Just took a great series of photos (want to post everyone over time) and I have one things to wait to announce, can I still post randomly with benefit to growing my followership?

I usually use my instagram to promote my work, releases, gig announcements, whatever.
I took an amazing set of photos with a friend and now I can't choose what to post, and am overanalyzing how to perform to get likes and be successful.
Is there a concrete way of going about posting these over time? I know I should just exhibit patience and not do anything in this state of mind but, I wanna also reveal without purpose since they are all so good, I can't imagine editing them down, since they are all so different.
Please advise what you think would be a wise plan.
