Is it weird to revitalize your social media presence after radio silence?

This is probably a weird question and me just getting stuck in my own head, but is it weird to start posting on social media accounts after basically abandoning them and just lurking on each platform. Is there any way to 'gracefully' return to social media? Or should I just accept that it might be noticeable but nobody will care?
