How would you start an online persona? Which platforms?

The caveats are this online persona is mostly for business and starting a brand. Ones that value privacy and protection is a plus. I intend on making my presence online slowly, like an introduction first-post just saying hello and a pic, seeing how the response is.
What platforms or apps would you suggest to use? the main focus baseline is professional, so would like the audience to share that with me. I am aware of the most popular platforms like fb, sc, ig but are there any other apps or platforms that some may not be aware of or newer ones that you recommend?
Going with the known platforms, any advice or services you would suggest?
