Getting on the Instagram explore page

Hello,
Right now I am running an Instagram page with over 2k followers where I post daily photos of dogs. I kinda confused though, because I can never get my posts on the explore page, although I get over 10k reach on the hashtags I use. I feel like getting on the explore page would help boost my account, but I only ever get a maximum of 50 impressions from the explore page per post.
Any help would be awesome,
