Migrating from Tumblr to Medium?

Hello,
I’ve had thoughts of migrating my blog posts (at least ones I still think are relevant) into another blog site. I was thinking of Medium. Do you think Medium would be the best place to do this? Or is there another blog site that would be better?
Tumblr just seems to be all over the place so I was hoping to just get out of that ecosystem, start fresh, and also repurpose my old posts and introduce them to people who may not know it exists.
Thoughts?
