Networking on social media isn't working. Am I not being creative enough?

When I first started my business I was doing very good, getting lots of followers and people interacting with my posts. Nowadays I post something I get a couple likes. I try to network in groups and my posts get buried, but I'll see someone post a sentence or just anything else really and it will get comments. I've even posted a video before asking a question and got zero likes or comments. I dont understand it. I've joined a ton of groups for example I'm in some female only groups. Most days it's the same posts about boyfriends, needing job advice etc. I posted something I made that I was proud of (not even trying to sell it or link my page) I got 3 likes.
I just dont understand what I could be doing wrong.
