How do people handle a personal account becoming an influencer account, in terms of maintaining an actual personal web presence?

If somebody starts with a standard personal account that has maybe 200 followers that includes friends of friends etc, and then that becomes an influencer account, where do they go from there? I could see making a new secret page for super close friends and messaging them an invitation, but it just seems awkward to message people who are distant acquaintances to invite them.
