Snapchat is biased!

I have reason to believe that there is a Snapchat score multiplier that favours iOS over Android.
Snapchat breaks up the your account score into how many snaps you've sent and how many snaps you've received - no surprise there.
I have found that this is not the case. The counter on snaps received can be manipulated on iOS devices. For example, I have trialed: - Android (Moto G5S Plus) to Android (Samsung S6) - Android (Moto G5S Plus) to iOS (iPhone X & iPad mini) I made a new account for sending, which right now has sent about 2000 snaps and one new one for receiving which has only received snaps sent by the sending account.
When testing Android to Android nothing out of the ordinary happens however if an iOS device receives the snap, a crazy score boost happens. For example, the score on the sending account is 2032 (Moto G5S Plus), whereas the receiving one (iPhone X) has gathered score of 128,102 - yes, one hundred and twenty eight thousand. This makes absolutely NO sense as this account has only received roughly 2000 snaps!
Important steps to reproduce the same results require sending a large amount of snaps (100+) to an iOS device (that has the target account signed in on), and make sure when opening them, tap quickly as this triggers some kind of exponential multiplier. After repeating this process, the score will climb about 10,000's each time, depending on what Apple device you use (our research shows that iPhone X results are better than an iPad mini)
I believe this is either a bug in Snapchat's opening code for iOS or intentional to attract users to Apple products.
