I can't send gif files on Facebook posts on my PC. Does anyone know why or how to fix this?

It worked fine before (when dragging and dropping to the text box) but all of a sudden they all just send as a static image unless I try sending them as an attachment, in which case they won't send at all and asks me to try again.
