Can't make someone a Facebook admin on page

I created a business page for someone. We are friends on Facebook. She is listed as the site owner, and I am the only admin. I want to no longer be the admin for the page, and FB is suggesting that I add another admin.
From what I've been able to find out, having her listed as the site owner isn't enough, that she needs to be added as an admin. I can't figure out how to do it.
Again, we are FB friends.
She has also liked the page (it shows in friends who have liked the page). I can't find her in the list of people who like the page, though.
On Page Roles, I can not locate her by typing in her name.
I've also tried to assign the role with her email address, and "add" stays greyed-out.
I'm out of ideas. Any thoughts?
