Tips for building a successful Instagram Blog for a newbie

After a long time of thinking about it I decided to get Instagram.
Because I love taking pictures and sharing what I do I decided to make some kind of blog about beautiful landscapes, my guitar journey and maybe sport etc.
But because I am a total newbie in things social media (except for my personal FB page) I have no clue on how to do it successfully.
What are the unwritten rules, or no-gos, and tips you can give me on my journey. And do you think the combination of Landscapes, Sports, my guitar journey and personal stuff (dinners, events etc) would work or is this too broad? :)
