facebook in my country is filled with shilling fake accounts and reporting them does absolutely nothing

A bit of context: I live in Romania, where the government leadership is trying ( and succeeding ) to pass laws that would effectively forgive the corrupt leaders for all of their charges. Saying this with 0 exageration. They are actually changing the law in favor of criminals. It's in the news how thousands of criminals have been allowed out of jail, some of them even getting PAID for their time. And I'm talking rapists and murderers. The leaders are trying to distance the country from Europe and sell and destroy everything, for reasons of money and power.
The voters they get are mostly old, uneducated people. They pay and control a bunch of television channels, newspapers and national media personalities.
One method of maintaining that control is using shill accounts on facebook and spamming fake news / comments. They even have a forum where they gather and say stuff like "comment negatively on this article" or "defend X in this article" or "share this", etc. Now, the shills are easy to spot. They have fake names, fake pictures, their profiles are private or have like 100 friends, all of them fake of course.
And its these fake articles and accounts that I continuously report aaand... nothing happens. Facebook does literally nothing against them, despite the obvious fake accounts, despite the language used, despite the fake news spread by them. And I find this shit shameful and so tiring. How do I combat this? Does reporting actually do anything?
Fuck you, Zuckerberg, and your shitstain of a platform. I don't want my country to become Venezuela 2.0.
