Editing Text of Promoted Facebook Posts

I'm a realtor and recently boosted a property's post. My issue now is that I want to edit the text of that post and see NO WAY to do it in the editing section of the ad manager.
Must I delete the original post and create a new ad? Will this hurt me any as the boosted post wouldn't exist anymore.
