Facebook HELP!

Trying to post a link from my website to Facebook and change the image that appears for the link. Nothing is working. Here are the steps I have taken:
1) Pasted link, waited until available images appear, click the plus box at the end, uploaded the new image. Once it uploads, Facebook won't let me click on the old images to remove them and won't let me click on the new image to add it.
2) Pasted link, clicked all available images, click the plus box at the end, and uploaded the new image. Nothing happens and I can't select the old images or the new images.
I have tried on my main Facebook page, within the Creator feature, and on third party sources like Buffer. Nothing seems to work.
HELP!
