What is best to do for B2B?

Hi all,
Have a client who is a mens clothing distributor.
At the minute, he is using a Facebook account that is only for his customers personal FB accounts, but with more and more people changing to business pages, we are finding this is not always 100% effective.
He wants to be able to keep in constant contact with his customers show casing new products etc the whole time, so a page would not be okay as he does not want the general public able to see what is going on.
I have suggested an email marketing campaign, but he seems to think the answer is in FB/Insta - while trying to keep it private.
What is the best way to go about this? Is email the nest option or would FB be?
