Reddit karma system encourages conformity

when you post contrary, critical or unpopular opinions, or if you point out that some post is wrong people don't give you points (I know that it is not supposed to work this way, but it does). More often they down-vote you. So this just encourages people to conform. This is exacerbated by the fact some people piss on you because you hold a minority opinion (including some Redditors, who block you)
