Obscure Social Media - Ex. Hatena

Does anyone use any lesser known social media for posting? A good example being Hatena, a site formerly known for its association with Nintendo for the DSi's Flipnote Studio application. While the Flipnote service is gone, Hatena has gone back to just being a blogging site. If you use something like this to post stuff, do you know other people who belong to the service as well?
