I keep seeing news stories about the big companies, and lots of people commenting they left or are leaving. Obviously, a grain of salt is necessary, because I've also read that these companies ARE still growing in size. Yet, G+ is closing, and there are a lot of complaints.
Here are some of the alternatives people have suggested elsewhere.
Can you add anything (preferably with a short description of what type of site it is)?
Voat - like reddit 4chan - sort of like reddit 9gag - sort of like Imgur, for images and gifs ello - sort of like Facebook
