So I have a strange idea for a way to ditch our current social media paradigm. Imagine if there was a way to own our profile and have it exist in a blockchains like the way a bitcoin wallet works. You lose your wallet, you lose your profile. You would be in full control of how your profile is viewed and shared. The only way to make "friends" is by direct contact through some sort of secure method. I prefer the idea of direct contact. Your profile could be seen outside of your circle of direct friends by a 6 degree of seperation method. My idea is to decentralize our social media like bitcoin is decentralizing currency. Is this a feasible idea?
