[Snapchat] Discover page algorithm - Why do I see the ads and stories that I do?

I don’t use Snapchat too frequently, but when I do get on it I run across irrelevant ads or stories on my discover page which further turns me off of using it.
For example, an ad for Match.com comes up frequently, and I’ve never visited nor downloaded a dating app in my entire life.
I also have tons of stories from random women, models, female pornstars, etc. none of which I’ve ever heard of.
Essentially, it looks like their algorithm is set to target a horny college-aged male. I’m a married, straight, 25-year old woman.
Any insight into how the Discover Page algorithm works?
