What do you call the social media profile picture space?

Trying to nail this down for work. I'm not looking for a name for personal profile picture spaces, necessarily - just a blanket term for the profile picture space brands usually pop their logo in. I've heard it described as:
- Brand avatar (some have said they associate avatar with gaming or forums only, but this is probably my favorite)
- Social media icon (this doesn't sit well with me because searching this phrase brings up the actual icons of social media networks, I feel it could be confusing)
- Brand icon (don't like this as it doesn't necessarily convey that it's referring to a social media profile picture, more like a logo in general)
- Social media profile picture space (too wordy, and I want to succinctly describe this space)
- Social media badge (this term is already being used to describe social media icons on a website that direct the user to the business' social media profiles)
Any suggestions? We're struggling to define what this space is called and gave it 4-5 different names in one recent article. Thanks in advance.
