Remember Yik Yak? What if they did this to avoid being shit down

Remember the anonymous social network? So i'm still upset about Yik Yak shutting down, I felt like there was a sense of community in the college with this app. I know there were reports of the app shutting down because of racism, homophobia etc.
But I was talking to my friend about this, what if they had the chance to stop this by bullying by allowing users to have some sort of exposure button. Just like the way people used to be allowed to have one replay value like on snapchat back in the day. But to be exposed, a certain amount of people would need to hit the expose button, after it's reached a certain number of request, the identity behind the Yak will be exposed. Because if someone made a joke and it was funny and unoffensive humor you're more likely to brush it under the carpet compared to someone who has said something homophobic which more people would be willing to expose.
I don't know... I was just thinking, for those that used Yik Yak or heard of it, what do you think?
