Is it possible to invite people outside a group to a group event on Facebook?

Okay, so I have a group and a page for a local venue. When creating an event for the group, I have the option to invite everyone in the group - this is super useful! But, after the group is created, I can't invite anyone from OUTSIDE the group, which is super useless.

Is there any solution to this?
