How to convince a luxury resort that social media is important?

There's a resort nearby my house that is famous for having A-list celebrities such as christiano ronaldo, obama, putin, royalty etc. stay there on vacation.
Their social media is utter crap, their facebook page gets 10 likes per cringe post, their instagram has no audience etc.
As a broke 18yr old looking for pocket money I thought of offering to take over their social media and run campaigns and grow their audience. The problem that I'm facing is that the owners clearly don't understand the concept of social media and the power of it. They believe that since their resort is so expensive aka only millionairs can afford to stay, any kind of marketing is useless since they dont care about random clients.
How would a confident teen with no degree manage to convince a 5star 100acre big hotel that social media is a valuable asset to their company and get them to hire me?
