I am Zach Zahn and I am interested in working with your company to create a joint project, revolving around different pillars of media creation. The joint project would be creating a social media empire, similar to the success of social media superstars like Lele Pons, but done with a better, driven plan for long term success. As of now, the plan would focus on high virality comedy skits, a podcast called “Success Stories”, books, music, and merchandising. Other ideas may be added to the plan as time extends, such as branching out into vlogging and vines when V2 releases. The first pillar would be creating high virality skits centered around comedy. These skits would be short in length and the topics would vary between each skit. Topics can be decided by a number of factors including current trends and SEO. There are a multitude of different platforms that these skits could be uploaded to, whether that be Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram. The skits would not require a large budget and would be monetized through overlay in-video ads, skippable video ads, sponsored cards, and mid-roll ads, as well as product placement and sponsored content. The skits would likely be put out weekly, but could be filmed in advance. The second pillar would be creating a podcast called “Success Stories”. On this podcast, the guest and I would be discussing their current success, how they got there, as well as how they intend to get to their future successes, and what exactly those are. The show focuses on giving the audience insight into how they achieved what they did. Guests on the show would not need to come to the studio, as we could use internet calling through a program like Discord or Skype. The wide range of guests and broad topic allows the show to be open to a wide audience, being as guests could be successful in a numerous amount of ways, whether that be personal success or career-based success. This podcast would be monetized through ads, affiliate links and programs, merchandising, and sponsorships focused around the guest’s success. For example, if the guest on the show was a musician, the sponsors would likely be companies that are music-related to increase click through rates and keep audience retention.The third pillar would be releasing books to cover costs for other productions. I would be able to write the books and then they would be brought to a publishing company or published independently and they would be available for purchase. The topic of these books can vary between fiction and nonfiction. Two ideas for books I can think of currently would be a book of poems and a book detailing what is like to create one of the comedy skits, describing the process from start to finish. The fourth pillar would be creating music. Music is a very profitable industry, so releasing songs could again help cover production costs and create more revenue. Working with a media production company would allow better, high quality music videos to be created. The topics of the songs will vary, but would fall under the pop genre, so as to maintain the widest potential audience. The songs released could also be featured on platforms like Spotify, and would frequently be used in the comedy skits to drive traffic to the song, thus turning it into evergreen content. The fifth pillar would be merchandising. Creating a brand of clothing would be a highly profitable concept. Releasing articles of clothing such as tee-shirts and hoodies with different designs on them would be doable, and they could be sold on a webstore linked to my domain, which I own, or they could be sold on a webstore linked to your domain and website. The merchandising could be featured frequently in the comedy skits, as well as on the podcast and other avenues like at the end of every production and in Instagram posts.
