How to enable FB pixel tracking when promoting posts on IG app itself?

Hi everyone, it’s my first time posting on this sub!
I’m used to running Conversion ads and selecting IG as a placement, this allows me to enable FB pixel tracking on Ads Manager.
But I realized that when I promote posts on the IG app itself there doesn’t seem to be an option to enable FB pixel tracking? Last I checked, I tried to manually turn it on via Ads Manager but was told to make changes on the ‘platform I used to create the ad’ .. which isn’t possible because the option isn’t there.
Any suggestions or insights on this? Did I miss out on something?
